Campesinx Back to School Drive

Fuerza Latinx is collaborating with collectives from both Santa Cruz and Watsonville for this effort. The goal is collect School supplies donations , and distribute them to field workers in Watsonville for their children. There are 4 locations where the community can drop off supplies, and the locations are listed on the flyer. Distance learning has widened the equity gap and has brought upon a new set of barriers for latinx students. We know backpacks and school supplies is only the first step in the bigger picture of bridging the equity gap during this new challenge of distance learning, and we will continue to do work with the youth in order to identify and assist our communities with the ultimate goal of creating an equitable learning environemnt for all.
